Claire & Martyn's wedding at Edinburgh Zoo

23rd September 2017
I tend to shoot wedding photography at Edinburgh Zoo around once per year, and it's always amazing.
Today's with Claire & Martyn was really beautiful. Claire has a really lovely vintage look which really suited the mansion house, so regardless of what the weather was going to do, we were going to get amazing photos.

It was the usual slow start for me, arriving early to get set up and plan my approach to the day. But all too soon we were at the crucial times of wedding dress on, guys into kilts and guests arriving.

Ivor Middleton was our Humanist celebrant for today - I've worked with him many times in the past, and as usual, he led everyone though a lovely service.
With the marriage complete and family photos taken outside... we were offered a car to go travelling around the zoo for photos... but with under an hour of "free" time, I thought it best we stay close to the mansion house, and I'd scouted out a few nice locations in the morning.

There was a great wee site over by the Lemur spotting station, and with careful positioning of my light and some sign removal we had an amazing view... then onto the main front lawn and then a tour of the Mansion House.
Job done. 4 or 5 brill locations for photos with no major hike around the zoo.

I passed our newly weds over to the staff with 15 minutes to spare for them to chill in the bar, before everyone was called through to the wedding breakfast & speeches.

A fabby day, Claire looked amazing, and Martyn equally dashing.

Grab a look at the slideshow below, and underneath that you'll find a link to the full Gallery with over 300 photos... all of which you can buy prints of.
That would be great, as Annie is now in Uni and costing me more to satisfy :)

BIG thanks to Martyn & Claire for having me at their big day. It allowed me to show off the kind of photography I love to do.

Mind leave a nice wee comment below too.
