Bryony & Aidan's wedding at Dunglass

27th April 2018
Dunglass... one of our favourite venues to shoot weddings at... you always get an amazing wedding there.
I seem to harp on about weather a lot these days, but this was another big wedding day that was approaching during some really yucky weather.
My last contact with Bryony was me saying I'll do my sunshine dance for her.
On the Saturday morning of the wedding I arrived quite early (as usual) and was met by Bryony running out of the marquee thanking me for the nice weather :)

We have been really fortunate this year... remember a few years back I offered a sunshine guarantee ? I might start doing that again ;)

Anyway, the whole day was skipping along really nicely, everyone was chilled... Bryony was ready really early (you have no idea how rare that is these days with brides in make-up for half the day it seems).

We got some lovely shots of everyone during this really relaxed day. What a difference it makes to the couple and their wedding when everything is organised well and there are no time restrictions on anyone - photographer included.

Bryony was wearing a gorgeous long sleeve 1930's vintage dress, from as faraway from Dunbar as you can get in the UK - Devon, I believe.
The dress and her whole look really suited her, and with Aidan smartly suited up in tartan Trews, they made for a rather swish couple.

After the ceremony we had a calm walk around the grounds, taking in the small patches of daffodils - the cold start to the year delaying most of the flowers this year.

I still managed to keep last year's personal goal of shooting something new at Dunglass with every visit. But with such an expanse of beautiful grounds - it's quite an easy goal.

So the slideshow - highlights of the wedding - is below. It really sums the day up really well I think. Below that, you can find a link to the full Gallery of photos.
